Spurs arrange a big swap with Sevilla including cash, while getting a new keeper from Atalanta

Tottenham is finally doing work on the transfer market. The club was held by not having a manager to boost its ranks and only now the side is finalizing some deals. Will they be enough to keep the fans optimistic? Or more importantly, will they be enough to show proper ambition to Harry Kane? It doesn't seem like it.

Spurs fans have a swap deal incoming as the new sporting director Fabio Paratici has agreed a deal with Sevilla's man in charge the famous Monchi. Spurs are set to bring in Bryan Gil, a 20-year-old winger and will for him give Erik Lamela and €25,000,000 + add ons!

Gil is a left-winger who played 21 games for Sevilla total, scoring twice and getting the same number of assists. In the previous season he played for Eibar, getting 30 caps overall, scoring four times and getting four assists. The year prior he was also in a La Liga team on loan but for the second half-season, that time with Leganes who was relegated. Gil played 12 games for the side but if his stats don't look that impressive considering that the man who was a teenager until February of this year got three Spain caps already.

In Lamela, the Spurs are ready to give up on a veteran for the club who has a solid return of 37 goals and 47 assists in 257 games for the club. Many of them started from the bench. Yet the 29-year-old's record of injuries was enough for Paratici to ok the deal which is quite close to being finalized.

Spurs are also looking to bolster the back of the team by giving Hugo Lloris a worthy understudy and possibly a competitor in Atalanta's Pierluigi Gollini on a loan. The 26-year-old keeper has a total of 112 games for La Dea and is certainly not just coming to warm the bench.

Gollini alternated between the posts of Gian Pierro Gasperini's hit side, getting 32 appearances last season and 41 the one before that. Spurs would be getting him on a loan for a year with an option to extend. There will also be a buy option for €15,000,000 which will become an obligation if Gollini ends up playing in 20 games this season. Gollini already has experience in England as he was a youth player for Manchester United between 2012 and 2014.
