Real signs another highly-rated Brazilian teenager

After Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, Real Madrid is going to buy another highly-rated Brazilian prospect. Flamengo's young star Reinier is about to join Los Blancos in a move worth €30,000,000!

Reinier is regarded as perhaps the most talented Brazilian player still playing in the country's top division - Serie A. Not only did he play in it, but he also won it this year with Flamengo, being involved in 14 games, scoring six times and assisting twice. Alongside playing in one Copa Libertadores game, which Flamengo also won.

The Brazilian has been dropping hints about joining up Real Madrid on social media, and Marca reports that he is bound to do it on January 19th, when he will turn 18. As Brazilian players are not allowed to leave the country before turning 18.

Reinier Jesus, which is his full name, is a central attacking midfielder although is capable of playing even deeper, in the central midfield role. The teenager will initially join up with Real Madrid's second team, Castilla, and not the first team. Castilla is coached by no other than Los Blanco's legend Raul but the plan is that he will alternate between the training sessions of the first and second team.

Real already has five Brazilians in the first team - Marcelo, Eder Militao, Casemiro, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior. With another attacking player Rodrigo in the Castilla team.

Reinier was chased by several European clubs, for a while he was deemed closest to Ajax, but Reinier was also interesting to Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

The player signed a contract extension with Flamengo in November and then his release clause dropped from €70,000,000 to €30,000,000.
