Real confirms the signing of yet another Brazilian teenager

As we reported at the start of the month - Real Madrid has signed the Brazilian teenager Reinier from Flamengo. The Spanish side confirmed the transfer on its website two days after the player's 18th birthday.

Real beat the competition and signed the player for €30,000,000 which was his release clause. The 18-year-old is locked down for six seasons with a contract until 2026.

"Being in Real Madrid is being on top of football. Real Madrid is the biggest. When I was very young I already saw the games of the Galacticos with my father. I loved Madrid. And of course since then I have always loved him. The four Champions League titles that Madrid has conquered in recent years have given me happiness and pride that is difficult to explain," said Reinier.

This is the third Brazilian teenager Real has bought directly from the South American country in recent years. Vinicius Junior arrived in the summer of 2018 from Flamengo as well and Rodrygo came from Santos during the previous summer. Both of them cost Real €45,000,000 each. Theoretically, Real can start with an attacking midfield three of just Brazilians.

It seems that Real is ready to sign the next superstar on the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and other Ballon d'Or winners before as soon as possible. And the latest one, Reinier, reminds a bit of the man who won the lass golden ball before CR7 and Leo Messi started dominating - Kaka. An attacking midfielder with vision and great passing, Reinier is also viewed as a more physically-gifted player than former Real and Milan star Kaka.

Yet, Reinier will first start playing for Real's second team Castilla but will be involved in first-team training under the eye of Zinedine Zidane. Kaka and Zizu are the two players Reinier states he modelled his game on, admiring their elegance and daring style of play.

Real already has three more Brazilians in the first team besides the Rodrygo and Vinicius - Marcelo, Eder Militao, and Casemiro. With another attacking player Rodrigo in the Real Madrid's Castilla team.
