Jadson Sancho scores his first Bundesliga hattrick: Paderborn vs Dortmund 1-6

Jadson Sancho scored his first hat trick in a career following the yesterday's 6-1 win of his team versus bottom-placed Paderborn.

Six goals and a hat-trick of English wonderkid Sancho put Dortmund back to seven points gap with leaders Bayern.

The first half was less eventful then the second one and all the goals were scored after the first 45 minutes.

Thorgan Hazard was in the right place to make the opener in 54' after hosts failed to clear the ball in the box.

Three minutes later Jadson Sancho scores his first of three goals. He celebrated the goal by sending a message of support on his t-shirt: 'Justice for George- Floyd'.

Dortmund missed their key players Marco Reus and Erling Haaland but that didn't help Paderborn to put a real threat on Black and Yellows.

Hosts were without many chances but they earned a penalty in 70' that gave them a chance to return to the game. But Dortmund and Sancho were fast and decisive. The result was 1-3 two minutes after hosts celebrated their only goal.

Moroccan wingback Achraf Hakimi confirmed his great form with scoring his second goal in the last three matches.

Two minutes before the injury time Marcel Schmelzer added fifth before Sancho completed the hattrick and crowned the pleasant attacking display of his team.

"Delighted to get my first career hat trick, a bittersweet moment personally as there are more important things going on in the world today that we must address and help make a change," Sancho wrote on Instagram after the game.

Paderborn now remains bottom of the league eight points behind Dusseldorf and almost without chances to survive, while Dortmund stays in second place, behind Bayern.

Another Borussia, Borussia Monchengladbach had an easy job against Union Berlin at home following their 4-1 win in the other game on Sunday.

Marc Rose's team returns to Champions League places with the victory while Union dipped into relegation worries after another poor result.
