Conte's best business card arrives at Guiseppe Meazza

23.1.2020.

So many footballers have praised Antonio Conte and cited him as the biggest reason they did join or want to join Inter. It could be argued that Victor Moses is Conte's best business card as the Italian tactician managed to make a fringe, somewhat forgettable player overperform and be one of the key players in Chelsea's last Premier League title.

So it's not surprising that Moses cut down his Fenerhbahce loan and decided to move to Inter, in a deal that has been finalized today.

Moses arrives from Stamford Bridge on a loan with an option to buy for €12,000,000. If the Nigerian finds his form from Chelsea's title-winning season he is surely bound to stay.

He spoke about the desire to work with Conte himself.

"Working again with the coach is an opportunity that makes me very happy. I spoke to him and he already explained the club's project to me. I want to be part of it, I'm happy to be here. I will give my best, I want to help the team. There is so much quality here, I want to give my contribution on the field and have fun. These are the most important things," said the 29-year-old winger turned wing-back.

Moses does expect a transitional period as he did only play 23 times for Fenerbahce over 12 months but is still ambitious about the future.

"I will need to settle in but I want to help the team win as many races as possible. We will do everything to achieve our goals and make our fans proud."

Moses success with Conte is a testament to himself too of course, especially as it's evident that Inter's summer transfer Valentino Lazaro hasn't managed to impress the Italian in the same position. It's reported that Lazaro will move to Newcastle for a €1,500,000 loan deal with an option to buy for €23,500,000 in the summer.

Inter already secured another Premier League wing-back this January as Manchester United's captain Ashley Young joined the squad permanently.
