York United from Toronto and Atletico from Ottawa will play in the 22nd round of the Canadian Premier League at 1.30 am CET. It's a duel of a team from the province of Ontario, one could say a local derby, although York is fighting for high positions, while Atletico is the worst team in the league of eight clubs.

York is also in very good form, has a period of 6 straight Premier League games without a defeat and is unbeaten in 11 of their last 12 home league matches. Also, York has 11 straight Premier League clashes in all of which scored one or more goals. All of that brought him to fourth place with 30 points, and the Pacific leader has nine points more and a game played more.

A good period for coach Jimmy Brennan's team coincided with the recovery of all his players, he had a lot of injuries throughout the season and that had a bad effect on the results. Now everything is much better and York believes that will defend fourth place and win the play-offs for the champion in the remaining seven games of the regular part of this season.

- Competitiveness is getting stronger, it’s becoming a lot more intense now with 20-something guys out there. Training has been very positive, lots of energy. Everybody knows what’s at stake and they don’t want to be a part of it in play - Brennan said, and there’s no doubt that his team will still play very offensively today.

Also, York has conceded just five times at home - the best such record in the CPL, though two of them came in last match against Halifax (2:2).

And while the mood in home team is great, guests from Ottawa don’t have to brag too much. Atletico Ottawa have won only 1 of their last 11 Premier League matches and conceded 1 or more goals in their last 16 league games in a row.

- In the last eight games, I’d say we haven’t been able to keep the ball, place play faster. We need to keep the possession and try to take advantage of the space, especially behind their fullbacks - Spanish guest coach Mista is disappointed, and standard midfielder Viti Martinez is the only Ottawa player on the injured list.

A big surprise is the odds for this duel as well as their movement in favor of the guests. Realistically it's completely illogical because York is a far better team than Atletico, they played in September and York won 2:0, and his form is excellent. The hosts are also fighting for fourth place and play-offs, while the guests are playing only for prestige. York's victory is realistic in my opinion and odd has big value...
