thanks and sorry again
Rochdale - Sutton
League Two
There were two divisions between these two teams last season but that doesn’t represent their abilities at all. Rochdale were never a League One side and should have been relegated before last season. Sutton won the National League fairly easily and they are at present at the very least at League Two standard.
Usually when sides are relegated from League One, they find it difficult to bounce straight back. Teams promoted from the National League generally perform will in League Two. Basically, there is little difference in quality between teams relegated and promoted from League One and the National League.
Sutton had a poor start but after many wins, they’re now challenging for the automatic promotion spots. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see them promoted in consecutive seasons
Rochdale are in a poor run and haven’t won in their last 8 matches. They won’t challenge for promotion and their best case scenario is probably a mid table finish.
I kind of expect that poor run to continue today.
