Liverpool host Red Bull Leipzig in Budapest, Hungary. The Reds won 2:0 as guests in the first match (also played in Budapest), but since then suffered. Liverpool are in the biggest crisis in the club's history. According to me, there is a reason for the poor results - the injury situation. All three central defenders are out injured - Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip. Even worse, they are long-term injury victims. Mixing midfielders and youngsters in that role sometime work, but sometime not. Diogo Jota, who had a dream start in Liverpool's shirt, also suffered a nasty injury. The Reds have had long-term injuries to key players in key positions. For this match Klopp remain without injured trio centre backs, but there are four additional players struggling with injury: captain Jordan Hendersonb and Roberto Firmino are out, while Ozan Kabak and Caoimhin Kelleher are rated as doubtful.

Leipzig are playing in great style. Yes, they lost 2:0 from Liverpool in the first leg, but the defeat came after big mistakes. Otherwise, Leipzig were very good during the wole 90 minutes, but they were unlucky. Leipzig won four matches in a row in the meantime. They beat Hertha BSC, Borussia Monchengladbach and Freiburg in Bundesliga. They were also successful in the DFB Pokal beating Wolfsburg with 2:0. As You could see, Leipzig easily score goals. The players confidence is high and coach Julien Nagelsmann will ask for offensive. They have enough quality to give Liverpool some headaches defensively. Nagelsmann has some injury worries as Angelino is doubtful with a thigh injury. Marcel Sabitzer and Willi Orban are also doubts, while Marcel Halstenberg, Konrad Laimer and Dominik Szoboszlai are unavailable.

Liverpool suffered three defeats in four Premier League fixtures since the first-leg match. Their loss against Fulham was their sixth consecutive home defeat. On contrary, Leipzig are easily scoring goals in the last period. I expect Leipzig to produce lot of problems to Liverpool.

I am not saying about Champions League, I am saying about Premier League. I said this because I love cricket as well and in one of the best tournaments (IPL), there are lot of controversies of matches being fixed. Once, two teams were banned for 2 years.

It was said they fixed something with one of the bookie, so what Liverpool are doing in the league is just making me thinl that way, coz to me that looks impossible, a team after 4 years being unbeaten, suddenly losing six at home on the trot, people complain about players injured but their bench strength is still good.

Thats just an opinion that it COULD be that way and not any accusation on Liverpool

I understand You, there are lot of situation that some teams fix their matches, like You wrote about cricket. Who knows, maybe some games are fixed.

Exactly, this COULD be what Liverpool are doing in the league. They can't do that in the Uefa Champions League because it is a very big tournament and nobody wants to lose there.
    OR
players could be having internal problems, probably players would have fallen out with Klopp, they would be wanting new manager. The game they are playing in the league, one could easily say they are playing as if they are forced to, so lazy, no much effort like last season.

They beat a strong Leipzig side and I am sure in the league they would go drop pts again. I don't see Klopp ending his season here at Liverpool

Cmon let's stop the nonsense talk. There is much less fixing happening in football then the average bettor would think. Not everything needs to be a conspiracy. And to think that Liverpool is fixing games goes in the same basket-like believing that the earth is flat. Get real guys!

I didnt mean to hurt anyones feelings or am not accusing anyone but as I also have knowledge about cricket, In Indian Premier League which is a very popular tournament, two teams were banned for 2 seasons and some players too were banned, they had fixed the match. There was a bookie which was involved in that.
That is why I said something that could have happend as both cricket and football are sports and I didnt say exactly that happened, am not accusing here.
I apologise if I by mistakenly hurt anyone.
Sorry once again if my comments were inappropriate.
And I even said if not that, then maybe players would have fallen out with Klopp just as Manchester United did with Mourinho.
