I will start my preview with the actual form of both teams. Dynamo Brest have no win in the last five rounds. They lost twice, from FK Minsk and Energetik-BGU, while shared the points on the remaining three occasions - with Isloch, Smorgon and Shakhtyor Soligorsk. The players confidence isn't high and coach Kovalchuk will have a problem about that. Most of the players are available for this derby game, only Valeriy Potorocha remain out injured. Midfielder David Ivan left the club last week.

Rukh Brest are on the third position. They are fighting for an European spot and this match is very important. The actual form could be rated as solid - four victories and one draw on the last five matches. They managed to beat Neman, Dinamo Minsk, Zhodino and Slutsk, while shared the points with Vitebsk. The defense look rock solid as they haven't conceded a single goal on the mentioned five matches. The atmosphere in the squad is good, while the players confidence is high. Coach Sednyov has no important missing players, only Klopotskiy is sidelined.

Rukh Brest should win this match. The quality is on their side, the motivation too. They are in better form at the moment. In addition, they are not classic guests as both teams are based in Brest. Furthermore, both teams are sharing the same stadium - Stadyen DASK Brestski. So, Dynamo Brest have no significant home advantage. Plus, there are rumors these two clubs are in "close" relations thanks to businessman Alexander Zaitsev. Unofficially, he is the "boss" of both clubs. I am not saying Dynamo Brest will give the points to Rukh, but I am sure this will be a relaxed match with no pressure, no bad fouls, no fights between the players etc. The better team should win and that's Rukh.
