Croatian champion Dinamo from Zagreb and Russian club from Krasnodar are playing return match of the 1/16 finals of the European League today at 9 pm CET at stadium Maksimir. Nice weather and good pitch are expected, unlike the big cold in first game in Russia where Dinamo won 3:2.

The key thing in that match was disastrous defense of Krasnodar and very insecure goalkeeper Gorodov, the culprit for two goals conceded. Dinamo can even regret that they didn't achieve a more convincing victory, but this also guarantees that they can lose 0:1 and 1:2 in this return match and still advance to the round of 16.

But Krasnodar isn't a naive team, in first match a long winter break had bad consequences and insecurity after it, but today it could be different and better for the Russian club.

Dinamo coach Zoran Mamić and his players are aware of that, and they are waiting return match with great caution. However, in the tactical prepare, Mamić insists that one goal must be scored and Dinamo will not be on the defensive mode, unless the guests force him to do so. Mamić has the strongest team available and will most likely run the same 11 players as in Krasnodar, and Dinamo is also rested because didn't play a game against Hajduk in 1st Croatian league last weekend.

Krasnodar expected much more from first game, but really failed completely in the defensive phase of the game. A similar thing happened four days ago when lost in Russian Cup against Sochi 1:2, but coach Murad Musaev says that the thoughts of his players are exclusively focused on Dinamo. They are convinced that they can play much better in Zagreb, score at least two goals and move in 1/8 finals.

The worst news for Musaev is that excellent Swedish striker Berg, who had a goal and an assist in first game, didn't arrive in Zagreb. He should be replaced by 35-year-old Brazilian Ari, who didn't play in first match, but Musaev has great confidence in him. He announced that another Brazilian will play from the first minute, and that is Wanderson, which suggests a complete offensive. Krasnodar is a team that knows how to attack and create opportunities even when his opponent is playing more defensively, so a very interesting and uncertain match is in sight.

My impression is that Dinamo isn' favorite in this match, as bookmakers believe, but I am afraid of the weakness of the guests defense and that is why I was in big doubt what to bet.

My first thought was that the guests wouldn't lose, and the second that there would be three goals in total, although Dinamo knows how to defend and can reduce this game to a few goals (Dinamo didn't concede a goal in five games in the group). However, I believe that coach Mamić will go for goals...

DINAMO: Livaković - Ristovski, Lauritsen, Theophile-Catherine, Gvardiol - Jakić - Ivanušec, Majer, Ademi, Oršić - Petković

KRASNODAR: Gorodov - Smolnikov, Martinovič, Kaio, Cernov - Olsson, Vilhena - Wanderson, Cabella, Claesson - Ari.

LOST Score: 1:0 Profit: -1
