Connahs Quay have had a poor start to the season for their standards. They are currently below Bala by a point in 5th place. Their problem is scoring goals. From their 5 games they have only scored 5 goals. The main reason for this is probably the sale of Michael Wilde to Flint Town. Wilde is often the top scorer of this league so that is a lot of goals to take out of a team. It’s really hard to see where the goals are going to come from for them to challenge TNS at the top this season and it’s probably not going to happen. 

Bala are the best of the rest. As in the 3rd best side behind TNS and Connahs Quay. They never quite mount a title challenge though, always some way behind those two sides. As expected, they’ve started well and once again will likely be up there in the top 3 or 4. 

Connahs Quay have so far beaten Aberystwyth 1-0 and drawn 1-1 with Caernarfon. This is their thought test to date this season. 

Bala have drawn 0-0 with Barry and beaten Aberystwyth 1-0 on the road this season. 

This could be a low scoring match.
