Burnley vs Liverpool

Asian Handicap
Pick: 1 (+1.0)
Odds: 3.34
Stake: 1

Match date: 19/05/2021

Burnley have 39 points and they are safe on the 15th place. The actual form is mixed, two wins and two defeats on the last four matches in the Premier League. The Clarets managed to beat Wolverhampton and Fulham, but lost to West Ham and Leeds. First goalkeeper Nick Pope is rated as doubtful due to a knee injury, while Dale Stephens is also an injury doubt.

The atmosphere in Liverpool squad is excellent after the last victory. They beat WBA with 2:1. Goalkeeper Alisson Becker was the hero on that match after scored a fantastic goal deep into the referee time. But Klopp has lot of injury issues ahead of the match. Ozan Kabak joined Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip on the injury list. That's not all, Jordan Henderson, Diogo Jota, James Milner and Naby Keita are also injured.

Chelsea beat Leicester with 2:1 yesterday and almost secured Top-4 finish. Liverpool are three points behind the Foxes and need the victory here. In that case both Leicester and Liverpool will have 66 points ahead of the last round. The Reds don't know for sure that winning their final two games of the season will secure a top-four place because goal difference may decide it. But three points from Turf Moor are far from guaranteed. According to me, Liverpool could be upset here.

Every system is only as strong as its weakest link.

Liverpool have fantastic strikers in Salah, Firmino, and Mane (plus Jota who is injured), Liverpool have excellent midfielders (Thiago, Wijnaldum, Fabinho will secure possession), but Liverpool weakest part is the heart of defense. As I have mentioned above, Van Dijk, Gomez, Matip and Kabak are out. That means Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips are likely to pair up once more. They failed to impress so far and I expect more problems to come. Burnley could upset the Reds.

LOST Score: 0:3 Profit: -1

Mate, I think you got it wrong here about that tie rule. H2H is the criteria for the tie in the champion race, in the tie for the place in the European Cups as well in the tie in the relegation battle.
That being said Liverpool holds the edge over Leicester with 3:0 win at home and 1:3 loss on the road. So now two victories over Burnley and Palace would be enough for them to finish among Top 4.

No, it's a goal difference in England.

Mackbet: No, it's a goal difference in England.
Sorry, I read this somewhere recently. Now I took double check and seems you're correct.
But in any case, don't you think that's even more reason to trust to Liverpool here to win by bigger margin? In my opinion Liverpool will came out today with A game.
I might try with Liverpool -1.5 if the odds move a little bit up from the current 1.75.

Yes, Liverpool are huge favorites, they are able to win high. But Klopp is missing four centre-backs and I don't trust Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips.
