Two teams with opening day wins. Watford’s was probably more impressive with a 3-2 win over Aston Villa. Brighton came from behind to beat Burnley 2-1. 

I’m a fan of Graham Potter and I really hope he does well at Brighton, and I really believe he is doing a good job. One thing they do struggle with is picking up easy wins, it never seems to happen. A high percentage of their wins are by 1 goal and as we saw from last season, they draw a lot of matches too. They have very few 2+ goal wins. 

They sold hot England prospect Ben White so they are potentially weaker this season. Danny Welbeck and Tariq Lamptey are injured, two big players for them.

Watford are the new boys and will likely have a go at sides like Brighton and they could potentially get a point here, or suffer a narrow defeat at least. They have dangerous attacking players such as Ismael Sarr so could very well score at least one. 

Everyone knows Brighton struggle to score so any win is likely to be narrow and +1 against the Seagulls is always going to be fairly safe.
